Mars Horodyski is an award-winning filmmaker with over a decade of directing and producing experience. She is an alumnus of the CFC directing program and the recipient of the Norman Jewison Director Award. Recently she was selected as one of six women directors for the inaugral pUNK Films Femmes Lab supported by Oscar-winning actress Melissa Leo.
In 2015 she won the Canadian Comedy Award for Best Directing in a Feature Film for Ben's at Home (which she directed, co-wrote and produced). Along with several commercials and music videos, her tv series credits include the BBC/DHX series The Next Step, the Emmy Award winning PBS series Odd Squad and the hit web series Carmilla.

Dan Abramovici has established himself as a respected actor, photographer, and filmmaker. On television he can be found playing on such shows as Beauty and The Beast (CW), Max and Shred, Murdoch Mysteries and Man Seeking Woman. He has also appeared in dozens of national commercials.
In 2012 he wrote, produced, and starred in the short films SCR_ _ BLE, Awkward Goodnight, Born This Way, and Mandella. All four films went on to receive international film festival success including numerous Audience Choice and Best Actor nods, appearing in over 20 international film festivals including Toronto’s CFC Worldwide, Berlin, Cucalorus, Los Angeles, Australia, and Puerto Rico. Ben’s At Home marks Dan’s graduation to writing feature films, and the film has won numerous awards as well as recently securing distribution. Dan received Best Actor nods at IndieFest and Rincon International Film Festival for his portrayal of Ben.
He enjoys challah with nutella and making mix tapes like its 1992.
JP Nynkowski made the transition from urban planning to film production while working as a producer on the award winning feature film Ben’s at Home. The film was just released theatrically in Canada (May 2015, Pacific Northwest Pictures) and he is currently working on expanding its reach beyond North America. Through his production company Awkward Silence Productions, JP is currently in development his next feature project You Have Feet In Your Shoes, which was recently selected as a top 10 Finalist in the Cinequest Screenplay Competition. The film will be going to camera in 2016. This past year, JP has also produced several commercial projects including two series of spots for the Royal Bank of Canada. He is currently producing digital content for the YTV movie Go Jump in the Pool and the Family Channel TV series Raising Expectations.
